A cost-effective GPS-aided autonomous guided vehicle for global path planning

چکیده

This paper presents a robotic platform of cost-effective GPS-aided autonomous guided vehicle (AGV) for global path planning. The is made mechanical radio controlled (RC) rover and an Arduino Uno microcontroller. An installed magnetic digital compass helps determine the right direction RC by continuously synchronising heading bearing vehicle. To ensure effective monitoring vehicle’s position as well track corresponding path, LCD keypad shield was, further, used. contribution work that designed AGV can successfully navigate its way towards destination point in obstacle-free outdoor environment solely relying on calculation shortest utilising GPS data. result achieved with minimum error possible lies within circle one meter radius around given destination, allowing devised to be used variety applications such landmine detection removal.
